It’s now, it’s never: A Kita Kita kemerut

DISCLAIMER: Eto na naman tayo! Hindi ‘to movie review! Marami lang akong feelings! I’m just a girl feeling feelings!

Omg hi guys kumusta kayo diyan? The good news is: I’m back. Charot good news talaga?? It really feels like a while. I’m going to get right into business cos I don’t want to dramarama sa hapon you guys more than I already did (ty to the people who reached out you are the best!).

Have you watched Kita Kita already? I’m glad that it’s doing really well in theaters! And I’m glad na palabas siya sa SM Calamba kasi hindi ko na kailangang ~lumuwas~ #promdiprobz. Like I said this isn’t a movie review.

HUHUHUHUUHUHUHUHUHAAAAAAAHHHH HUUAUUUUUHUUUUUUUUUHUHUHU

Sinisisi ko talaga ‘yung OST. May history kami ng Two Less Lonely People in the World na ‘yan. Wow parang ex??? Nung single pa ako, dalawang kanta ang ayokong naririnig sa public transport because 1. masaquette and 2. nahihirapan ako cos di ako maka-sing along!! One of two is yes, you guessed it right:

In my life where everything was wrong something finally went right huhuhuhuhuhu

Parang akong nakipagdigmaan. Kasalanan talaga ‘to ng Air Supply.

Back to regular programming.

Kita Kita is about Lea (Alessandra de Rossi) who found solace, light, and comfort (wow) in Tonyo (Empoy Marquez) at her lowest point – she suffers from temporary blindness due to stress so shoutout sa mga nagpapakapagod diyan hinay hinay! Tonyo actually forced himself in Lea’s life tapos naging successful naman siya kasi he’s funny and determined. Iba rin talaga nagagawa ng perseverance!

May sinabi Tonyo na nagustuhan ko.

It’s now. It’s never.

Tumawa ang lahat. Parang mali nga naman. It’s now or never ‘yun diba?

Para sa akin talaga, it takes courage to be happy or to pursue happiness.

Totoo ‘yan. Ayokong dibdibin kasi well, shet. The universe is out to get it. Ang ending? Huhu.

Like, here I come halaman life!

Mahirap kasi sumugal at umasa, right?

Piliin kong maging masaya?

Kita Kita trailer - Konnichiwa

Tonyo and Lea met each other at a strange time in their lives. May dumating, may natagpuan. May tumanggap. May nasaktan. Pero ang mahalaga, may lumigaya.

It’s now. It’s never.

Piliin natin ‘yung ngayon.

Piliing magtiwala sa mga sorpresang dadating.

Piliing maging matapang.

Piliing maging masaya.

  1. I love it, Bels! *ehem* remembering C.S. Lewis’ “..to love is to be vulnerable.” hahahuhuhaha
